Digital Archiving Resources

The Digital Archiving Resources project began as a course assignment in the Topics in Texts and Technology course taught by Dr. Mark Kamrath in Spring 2012. There were six graduate students including myself in the course. I audited the course and served as the technical director for the project and served on the editorial board for a year. The website was originally called Digital Archiving Information System (DAIS) and I presented the research for the editorial board at the University of Central Florida's 2013 Graduate Research Forum under the name Digital Archiving Information Repository (DAIR). The present name was selected by Dr. Kamrath in Spring of 2013.

The project uses the Omeka database platform. I was responsible for all work on the Omeka template during the course. This including changes to the Browse Collections and Browse Exhibits areas.
